
FTSE-listed betting operator GVC Holdings Plc (GVC) this morning has announced its first major B2B partnership with UK independent bookmaker Betfred for the services of its online sports betting and igaming platform.
Updating the market, GVC detailed a ten year ‘transformational B2B agreement’ which will see Betfred fully migrate its digital assets to GVC’s platform provisions on an exclusive basis.
GVC was chosen as Betfred’s new platform provider, following a review of industry services available. Betfred management noted that GVC’s proprietary technology had a strong focus on player journey, personalisation and ease of use between inventory and products.
The platform services agreement with Betfred, sees GVC complete its first significant B2B agreement since its £1.1 billion takeover leveraged of bwin.party Entertainment. Expanding GVC’s industry services through technology has been a detailed as a key factor for driving the operator’s future growth post acquisition.
