Amaya Inc appoints Brian Kyle as new CFO

Toronto TSX-listed Amaya Inc has confirmed the appointment of Brian Kyle as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing the departing Daniel Sebag as group finance leader. Kyle is expected to takeover full CFO duties from 19 June.

An experienced 25-year tech enterprise CFO, Kyle joins Amaya from IT operations and software infrastructure specialist Pivot Technology Solutions.

“Brian will be a great addition to Amaya’s executive team,” said Rafi Ashkenazi, Amaya’s Chief Executive Officer.

“Brian brings a wealth of experience in the capital markets working with technology companies. We expect Brian to take our finance and investor relations functions to the next level and deliver great value to our people, customers and shareholders.”

Kyle joins Amaya Inc, as the company restructures its executive team with a view of adding further industry assets to its existing portfolio.

In its latest corporate update, Amaya governance informed that it has proposed a corporate name change to ‘The Stars Group Inc’ to be voted on at the firm’s upcoming investors annual general meeting.

“It is a tremendous opportunity to join Amaya at such an exciting time in its evolution,” said Mr. Kyle. “I’m looking forward to getting to work and helping the Amaya team navigate the future.”
