Spanish gambling operator Luckia Gaming Group (Luckia) has selected NYX Gaming Group (NYX) as its main platform provider, as the company looks to expand its digital services and capabilities.

Updating the market Toronto TSX-listed NYX detailed that it had signed a long-term agreement with Luckia, which will see the technology provider supply digital gaming provisions for its core market of Spain and expand content and act as key advisor for new business opportunities in developing Latin American markets.

The agreement with NYX outlines an intention to increase their rate of expansion in the online space in Spain and other territories Luckia operates in, including Croatia, Chile, Peru, Panamá and Colombia.

The digital provisions partnership will begin with Luckia integrating NYX’s Open Platform System (OPS), which will allow the operator to release new content throughout its digital assets.

NYX EVP Business Development, David Flynn commented, “Luckia Gaming Group is one of the fastest growing groups in the Omni-channel space, having gained significant market-share and winning several prestigious awards in Spain, including ‘Best Spanish Company in the Private Gaming Sector’ and ‘Best Online Company in 2015’. We are very excited that Luckia has chosen the NYX Open Platform System to build its future upon. Through our partnership, they will be working with one of the world’s most flexible gaming platforms and responsive teams in the online gaming market.”

Luckia Gaming Group Business Director, Marcelo Ruiz commented, “NYX vision, commitment, solutions and professionalism will allow Luckia Gaming Group to enhance our value proposition to our customers and will allow us to achieve our wanted position in the gambling industry. We are excited to offer the NYX solutions and content to our customers and to take advantage of its outstanding capabilities and functionalities”.
