Caesars Entertainment, an American casino operator based in Nevada, has appointed Ruben Sigala as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) following a successful interim period.

Sigala, who has been with the company since September 2005, has served as CMO since May 2016. He has been appointed with immediate effect subject to regulatory approval.

In 2005, he was hired as vice-president of business strategy and revenue management, before being promoted to senior vice-president and chief analytics officer in June 2011.

Prior to joining Caesars, Sigala was a consultant for Ernst & Young’s National Cash Management Practice, and spent over two years as a special projects manager for Princess Cruises.

Mark Frissora, president and chief executive for Caesars Entertainment, said: “During his 11-year career with the company, Ruben Sigala has led analytics, pricing, yield and revenue management functions, and launched customer segmentation, big data and performance management platforms, which have played key roles in our recent operational accomplishments.

“As interim CMO, Ruben has demonstrated the critical leadership and executions skills necessary to lead our marketing teams’ pivotal role in our long-term success, and to collaborate effectively with our property and corporate leadership teams as we prepare to emerge from the CEOC bankruptcy process.”
