Amaya Inc online poker subsidiary PokerStars, has announced Usain Bolt, the world greatest sprint athlete as its new Brand Ambassador. This weekend Bolt announced joining Team PokerStars’ marketing initiative ‘Im All-in’ via his Facebook Page.
Bolt, an eight-time Olympic gold medallist, issued a challenge to Team PokerStars comedian and actor Kevin Hart who joined the poker room as an ambassador last April. Bolt ‘called-out’ Hart stating that he wanted to bring ‘speed and smarts to poker’.
“PokerStars is a winner and I’m happy to join Kevin in helping to bring poker and PokerStars to the masses. It’s a challenging game that’s fun, social and competitive so I’m pleased to be able to introduce it to my fans and to people around the world.” Bolt commented on joining Team PokerStars.
Updating the media Eric Hollreiser, Vice President of Corporate Communications at PokerStars, was delighted to add one of the world’s most recognised athletes to PokerStars’ growing roster of athletes and entertainers.
“Usain Bolt is a fierce competitor who pushes his game to the limits,” Hollreiser said. “But he’s also one of the most-liked athletes in the world. His strong global following and winning personality will help us to introduce poker in a fun, social and fast way.”

New Ambassador Bolt will represent PokerStars in marketing campaigns and live appearances geared toward introducing new audiences to the game of poker.
