
Hosted at the Pavilion at the Tower of London on Wednesday 1st June, the 2016 EGR B2B Awards celebrated the best in industry services, recognising a total of 38 disciplines critical to online gambling’s day-to-day operations.
Rewarding service categories for software, platform provisions, payment processing, IT development, data analytics, marketing and operational services the seventh EGR B2B Awards details the make-up of online gambling’s diverse and complex value chain.
For tech-based categories, NYX Gaming took the honour of ‘Platform of the Year’, with the awards night holding further highlights for the Canadian firm as its recently acquired firm OpenBet would win ‘Sports Betting Supplier’.

The B2B night would see familiar faces win as Playtech would retain its ‘Multi-Channel Supplier’, with EveryMatrix retaining its ‘White Label Partner’ award.
Ebbe Groes, CEO of EveryMatrix, said: “This major award comes as a recognition of our company’s efforts to create better solutions for the iGaming industry and our constant work to support our clients with high-quality products necessary for building successful gaming websites.”
SBTech took home the award for best In-Play Betting Software. CEO Richard Carter commented: “Over the past 12 months we have acquired numerous major operators, powering some of the most successful online gaming brands.
“The in-play betting element is the icing on the cake of our Sportsbook offering. We are delighted to be recognised as the best supplier of Sportsbetting software and services to the global online gaming market.”
The awards night would see a first time winner in Swedish games content developer Yggdrasil Gaming which won the accolade of best ‘Slot Provider’.
Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said: “Winning Software Rising Star at last year’s EGR B2B Awards was absolutely fantastic and we could only dream that a year on we would be voted Slot Provider of the Year. Operational services’ recognition would see BetConstruct win the industry’s ‘Best Customer Service’ award, with SafeCharge taking home top payments honours for ‘Payments Company’ and ‘Fraud & Compliance’.

Highlighting data competencies, top awards would be awarded to Betradar for best ‘Sport Data Provider’and HARMAN Connected Services for industry ‘Data Analytics’.
Marketing disciplines would see Irish start-up Element Wave win ‘Acquisition & Retention Partner’ with Income Access retaining its title of best ‘Affiliate Software’.
