A new conference will look at the negative perception of the gambling industry. Reputation Matters: The Gambling Sector in The Spotlight will take place in London on the afternoon of Thursday 7 November at the Soho Hotel, W1. 

The half-day event, organised by Clear Concise Media, will discuss the key issues linked to corporate and social responsibility, lobbying and public positioning for the gambling sector and will feature leading industry executives and public policy experts. A series of keynote speeches and panels will look at various aspects of how the gambling sector approaches lobbying, how it deals with politicians, its image with the public at large and the politics of responsible gambling. 

Among those speaking at the event are: 

  • Kenny Alexander, Group CEO of GVC 
  • Sarah Hanratty, Chief Executive of Senet Group
  • Sir Charles Napier, Founder of lobbying group Atlas Partners 
  • Lyndsay Wright, Director of Dtrategy and sustainability at William Hill  

The event is being sponsored by the law firm Wiggin and investment firm Goodbody
