Manila Networking Social – Charity Update

SBC AsiaDuring the recent SBC Asia and Asia Gambling Brief iGaming Social at Buddha Bar in Makati we collected funds in aid of people affected by Typhoon Yolanda, and we are pleased to announce that the total amount raised on the night came to US$700. We have donated the funds to a local team in Cebu who are doing amazing relief work in remote areas of Tacloban, the area most affected by the storm. The great news is that the Calvin Ayre Foundation is matching that donation and the total amount of US$ 1400 will be used to aid families in the area when the team next visits on 20-23 December. Please check out their Facebook page and this video of the great work the group has been doing for families who are still in dire need.

SBC Asia and AGB would once again like to thank our sponsors Aliquantum Gaming, Plus-Five Gaming, EveryMatrix, First Cagayan and iGaming Asia Congress who generously helped make the night a great success, and of course also everyone who attended on the night. Meanwhile, if you couldn’t make it to the event last Friday, take a look at the video our friends from CalvinAyre.com posted as part of their event coverage and don’t forget to like the SBC Facebook Page, which also features pictures from the event.

Our Asia Networking Socials are quickly becoming must-attend events for any serious industry professionals in Manila and further afield, and the next installment has been scheduled for the end of February 2014, with further details to be posted shortly. If you would like to sponsor one of our events and benefit from the great publicity it can provide for your brand or product, then please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing [email protected]com or [email protected].
