Stockholm-listed industry affiliate marketing network Catena Media has moved to expand its services and inventory for horseracing acquiring UK legacy racing portal – GG.co.uk.

Updating the market, Catena undertakes its latest affiliate acquisition for a total cash payment of £2 million, acquiring all GG.co.uk racing related assets outright.

One of the most trusted racing/betting communities, GG.co.uk offers racing punters daily tips, race cards and information. Furthermore, the website offers exclusive insider content from a number of expert racing punters.

GG.co.uk and its related assets will be added to Catena’s growing UK market inventory, which now includes the websites of BettingPro.com, BETFREEBETS.UK, CasinoUK.com, NewCasinos.com and football portal Squawka.

“Catena Media has a strong strategy for growth and an outspoken ambition to break into new online services. It is our firm belief that this small yet strategic and very well-known site enjoys vast opportunities for growth. Catena Media will be the partner that delivers on these opportunities,” detailed Henrik Persson Ekdahl, CEO of Catena Media on the acquisition.

Catena continues its aggressive acquisition growth strategy in 2018, in which the company has moved to expand its industry network within the US, UK, French and German markets.
