BMIT strengthens innovation muscle investing in EBO Ai

Malta-based IT services and enterprise solutions provider BMIT Technologies has acquired a stake in AI automation studio EBO Ltd (EBO.ai) to accelerate the development of its igaming centric business support technologies.

BMIT maintains a prior working relationship with EBO, which led the development of AI functionalities for BMIT’s ‘CX Virtual Agent’, the firm’s new automated customer service support solution launched this summer.

The investment will allow BMIT to further diversify and strengthen its technology portfolio for key industries such as igaming, allowing the firm to optimise its products through AI innovations for local and international customers.

In addition, BMIT will secure a new technology unit, with EBO’s AI capabilities allowing the company to respond and adapt its products faster to changing market opportunities.

“Through this investment, BMIT Technologies’ plans to grow further its business and enhance its product portfolio. We are excited to be part of EBO’s success story, and look forward to further develop our relationship, as we seek to diversify our offering, and reach out to new sectors and markets,” said Christian Sammut, CEO of BMIT Technologies.

In its acquisition statement, BMIT noted EBO proven track record for developing effective AI automated business support solutions with the  highly regulated markets of Healthcare, iGaming and the Financial Services sector.

BMIT remarked on the success of its first project with EBO which delivered the CX Virtual Agent, igaming’s first fully automated customer support robot indistinguishable from a human agent while continuously learning how to better perform.

“We are thrilled that a leading technology provider such as BMIT Technologies has invested in EBO. It is proof that our mission to harness AI to effectively automate human communication is the right one for the needs of businesses, in an era where customer experience is a key differentiator amongst organisations,” added Dr Gege Gatt, CEO of EBO Ltd.
