Technology provider BetConstruct has opened a virtual casino product in the German capital of Berlin, known as Vbet, in what is an industry first.
Located on Schillerstraße in the city’s affluent Charlottenburg district, the store utilises advanced VR technology to teleport bettors into a virtual casino world.
The Vbet store was unveiled at a grand opening on Saturday, and will also act as the company’s German headquarters.
The London-headquartered firm continues with its ambitious growth plans that have accelerated since Vigen Badalyan assumed the role of CEO in November, and made it clear that they hope to launch more Vbet stores throughout the continent in the coming months.
Addressing the crowd at the store launch on Saturday, BetConstruct’s Regional Director for Germany, Gor Mnatsakanyan, said: “BetConstruct started its journey back in 2003, and is now very proud to open its betting shop in Europe.
“Let me tell you a little bit about BetConstruct’s new products – many of you will have already seen them in action at ICE Totally Gaming. We have many new innovative products – BetCloud, Betonpolitics, etc. – but now we are tackling the B2C market.
“We are new in Germany, but as you will see, our product is also new and unique. We have developed the first in the world virtual reality casino with live dealer.”
Mnatsakanyan went on to describe the firm’s new app, Vivaro Go, which offers an augmented reality experience with users given the chance to win prizes and claim deals.
“It’s the first in the world, we have developed an app called Vivaro Go, it’s a unique and fun app, and you will all have a chance today to enjoy our full portfolio of products.”
The store launch came just days after BetConstruct won the award for ‘Best Live Dealer Overall Product’ at the 2018 Live Gaming Summit in Barcelona.
