Quickspin appoints Tomas Bergendal as Sales Director

Stockholm-based slots and games developer Quickspin has confirmed the appointment of Tomas Bergendal to the role of Sales Director as the firm looks to grow its presence in regulated and emerging markets following its May acquisition by FTSE-listed Playtech for €50 million.

Joining Quickspin Bergendal will be responsible for overseeing the sales department and expanding the firm’s reach into new jurisdictions, will be based at the supplier’s Malta office and report directly to Chief Commercial Officer Paul Myatt.

A five year sales veteran in the igaming and online casino industry, Bergendal joins Quickspin having previously held roles with Betsson and most recently Yggdrasil.

Bergendal joins the developer who has recorded a period of significant commercial growth, having agreed industry content partnership with 188bet, EveryMatrix and Iforium in 2016
