iSoftBet obtains gaming software licence in Romania

HandshakeiSoftBet, the London-based online and mobile casino games provider, has been granted a production and distribution of gaming software licence by the National Gambling Office in Romania.

Romania is the latest regulated European market to welcome and license iSoftBet, with the company having already been awarded permits in the UK, Spain, Italy, Denmark and Portugal.

The licence allows the company to offer an array of unique games from its portfolio to the Romanian online gambling market. With this development, operators in the jurisdiction will also be able to use iSoftBet’s third-party content through a single integration.

The company will initially roll out content through Netbet.ro with a selection of 50 certified games. As well as this, iSoftBet’s distributor licence allows the operator to take other certified third-party content into the jurisdiction.

Nir Elbaz, iSoftBet’s Managing Director, said: “Expanding the number of regulated markets in which we are operational is a significant part of iSoftBet’s growth plan. We regard responsible gambling as the highest priority, and work hard to deliver fair and enjoyable games for players and maximum profits for our operators.”
