SkillOnNet shuts down RedKings poker & sportsbook services

Malta-based white-label platform provider SkillOnNet has confirmed that it will shut down it’s RedKings online poker and sportsbook properties on 28 April 2019.

Moving forward, the SkillOnNet subsidiary will continue to operate solely as an online casino brand.

Shutting down its online poker room, SkillOnNet confirms that it has agreed that MPN (Microgaming) network partner Betsafe, will takeover and fulfil its existing RedKings player promotion responsibilities.

Meanwhile, RedKings sports betting customers will be granted until 24 April to settle all existing bets.

The announcement sees one of European gaming’s oldest online poker brands shut down its services. RedKings was launched in 2006 on the now-defunct OnGame network, with the poker room seeking to make its mark on the than emerging European online poker scene.

In 2010, diversifying its services and targeting World Cup trading, RedKings launched its online sportsbook, utilising EveryMatrix’s OddsMatrix platform.

“After nearly 13 years of shuffling cards at the tables, we regret to inform you that we are closing two of our products on RedKings (Poker and Betting).

“The casino will continue as normal and your account will stay active so you will be able to access your funds to play or withdraw at any time using your same login details”
