Genting Casino (UK subsidiary of Genting Group Malaysia) has confirmed the appointment of Jeremy Taylor as new Interactive Managing Director, charged with spearheading the firm’s ambitious digital growth strategy for online casino and sportsbook services.

Taylor joins Genting from Stockholm listed European online gambling group Betsson AB, where he formerly served as Group Marketing Director (2014-2018).

A seasoned executive in digital marketing strategies, Taylor has held further leadership roles at Setanta Sports and O2 UK.

Confirming the appointment of Taylor, Mark Sergeant Group Managing Director of Genting Casinos stated: “We have seen the incremental value generated through our online casino and sportsbook brands and are now ready to push forward into the next phase of our evolutionary growth. As retail casino experts, we needed a heavyweight online and mobile gaming executive to lead the interactive business – Jeremy is the ideal man for the job and we’re looking forward to seeing the business grow under his leadership from our new Maltese base”.

Under the leadership of Taylor as new MD of Interactive, Genting confirms that its digital operations will be migrated to Malta, as the gambling group seeks to rapidly accelerate the growth of GentingCasino.com & GentingBet.com
